Two-time Stanley Cup winner and Pittsburgh Penguin's defenceman Trevor Daley trusts Ryan Ramsay to help train his son.
Ryan Ramsay Hockey School provides on ice instruction to players from the Durham Region who are looking to further develop their skills and train under an experienced coaching staff.
All clinics are designed to strengthen the skill and skating level of a player while improving their overall game. During our camps, we concentrate on:
• Power skating
• Stick handling and puck protection
• Shooting and scoring
• Edgework, balance and crossovers
• Starts, stops and acceleration
• Tight turns and pivots
• Small-area games
Ryan also does private one-on-one lessons with focus on stick handling skills, edgework and skating as well as shooting tutorials.
RRHS is owned and operated by Ryan Ramsay, who was recently named 2017 coach of the year in the Greater Metro Junior A hockey league.
Together with experienced instructors who have all played high-levels of hockey, Ryan and his team are able to instruct young hockey players using integral training tools that they have gained from first-hand experience, both in North America and in Europe.
